A brilliant capture, Tim. I love how the smoke from the incense sticks captures the colours in the background. I think you are in a perfect place, and what with your skills, to come up with something for the monthly themeCatIt's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see ~ Henry David Thoreau
lol Tims comment, wondrful shot, has a wonderful feel to it. Love the dof too.
~In His Love~ Maggi D For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16
Thanks Maggi! I'm going to miss having a reliable connection. And being able to go out at night by myself too! Some of the places I'll be going to in China are not exactly safe for white people after dark But it will be well worth it.
When I was picking out which 50mm lens to get before this trip I decided on the f/2.5 macro and have been so happy with it. The dof is perfect and the bokeh is nice, plus the amount of detail wide open is just mind-blowing. Much happier with this instead of the faster f/1.4
