Eep, been way behind on uploading pics here. Took this a couple of weeks ago. It is the Fa Yuen Street market in Mong Kok, Hong Kong. Not one of the tacky tourist markets where they sell everything unimaginably tacky, but more of a market that the locals shop at for their clothes and fruit along with a few other odds and ends.
Thanks Karolina, Chris and Oly! I've been living in an apartment in MK for four weeks now and it has been an experience I'll never forget. I can see this market (one block over) from my window on the 26th floor!
The 40D is an awesome camera. I really don't see any reason to upgrade to the 50D since this beast has done me well on three continents and can manage the amount of use and abuse I've given it (100K+ clicks in 16 months)!
It just rocks! So much atmosphere......I am free for any future travel plans......

Thanks Beg-Erin, Maggi and Pete! Maggi, if you ever have the opportunity to visit HK, spend at least a couple of weeks in the country. It is an amazing place with so much diversity in every regard -- Timhttp://tdmphoto.com/c/tdmphoto http://tdmpblog.blogspot.com/
Thanks Jan & tjflynn!! This is one of my favorite shots from my trip so far. I'm sad that I'll be leaving HK in a week, but also excited to see all of China on a 6000km journey on trains to Kashgar and the Xinjiang province. -- Timhttp://tdmphoto.com/c/tdmphoto http://tdmpblog.blogspot.com/
Kudos!!!! Awesome shot!
