Cricket - The loneliness of the middle order batsman
Following on from my 'Portrait of a Psychedelic Surfer' i think it might become a new series of sporting portraits
And for those wondering what it means, from wiki
The first three batsmen (number 1, 2, 3) are known as the top order; the next four (numbers 4, 5, 6 and possibly 7) form the middle order, and the last four (numbers 8, 9, 10 and 11) are the lower order or tail
Works for me, only thing I would like is a bit more foreground before his feet.....excelent dof and wonderful tones....not bad on the eyes either!
~In His Love~ Maggi D For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16
Wonderful addition to the series. I agree with Viv, he does look as if he's mentally preparing. I suppose I would've been top order as I was always bully-off in hockey Good info' also, Jason. CatIt's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see ~ Henry David Thoreau
