4th July - Fireworks Photos
It’s July 4th today, which means that it’s Independence Day if you live in the USA, and also the opportunity to see a great fireworks display. According to Wikipedia, “Fireworks have been associated with the Fourth of July since 1777”. If you are planning to go out and take a few photos of the celebrations, then you may want to take a look at our Photographing Fireworks article, which has links to some great online resources.

Fireworks are overrated. In the last two years i've not seen a single original photograph of fireworks. I'd love to see something original with fireworks, maybe a journalistic style, while somebody gets beaten on the background )) lol ) ok, you got the point

Hi Mark - considering my own article on Friday reminded you to remind everyone about your earlier article the least you could have done was add my article to the list on yours ;

btw, I've updated it with a bit about using slow sync flash.
And when are you going to enable decent smilies here :D?

I agree with you in a way Oleg - one great fireworks shot doesn't look too different from the next. I prefer shots that show the people who are watching etc.
Ian - I will add your article now, in time for next year!

Ian,
I personally would be more interested in a link to the second part of your E-410 review.
Is it coming?
