I have the predecessor of this printer and it works wonders. I cannot imagine the power of this new one!

The article refers repeatedly to the 1400, but I believe the review is about the 3800.

Difficult to take this review seriously when the reviewer doesn't seem to know which model they are looking at. The Epson 1400 is a dye priter, 3800 is piment

Can role paper be used manually with the 3800? What about printing on canvas?

I would like to see a direct comparison (not so much features but image quality and performance as well as troubles and difficulties) between the Epson 3800 and the Canon IPF 5100.
I would also like an opinion on which you would buy and why.
Please also include the costs of operation on both printers.
