Get a Grip with the Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro

Available only through authorized Fujifilm dealers, the “Get a Grip” promotion represents a total savings of $480. “With this new promotion, we’re happy to make it easier for those photographers who have been waiting for the opportunity to get the S5 Pro,” says Darin Pepple, consumer and professional marketing manager with Fujifilm’s Electronic Imaging Division.  “And the new Power Grip provides a useful, proven tool for the professional photographer.”

Fujifilm ANNOUNCES new “get a grip” PROMOTION FOR FINEPIX S5 PRO

Valhalla, N.Y., October 17, 2007 – FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. is pleased to announce a new promotion that enables professional photographers to purchase a FinePix S5 Pro camera at the reduced price of $1,699.95 – a $200 savings.  In addition, Fujifilm is also offering professional photographers a free Power Grip, plus a Pantone Huey™ Pro* with purchase of the S5 Pro Body Only Kit, a savings of $280 with mail-in rebate.

At the heart of the FinePix S5 Pro is Real Photo Technology Pro, which combines the Super CCD SR Pro sensor and the new RP Processor Pro, and allows for the wide dynamic range with smoother tonality from brightest light to darkest shadow. The S5 Pro offers six preset dynamic range settings for expanded dynamic range between 100% and 400% and three new variations of the original film simulation modes pioneered in the FinePix S3 Pro have been added (five modes in total).
