Lexmark’s new all-in-ones raise the bar on value and ease of use in home printing - New toolbar optimizes printing of Web content

(NYSE: LXK) today introduced three new all-in-one (AIO) printers that deliver industry-leading value and ease of use for the home printing market. The new Lexmark X3470 and X2470 AIOs offer some of the best values in the industry for feature-rich direct photo printing and reliable everyday print, scan and copy functionality. The X3470 and X2470 also include the new Lexmark Web Toolbar, which makes it quick and easy to print pages, text and photos from the Web. The new Lexmark X1270 is the industry’s price-leading AIO, combining high quality printing, scanning and copying in a compact, stylish design. “Our new family of all-in-ones gives your family the capability to do more, whether you are printing homework, Web pages, photos or other everyday documents. Lexmark X3470 AIO with Premium Photo Features
The new Lexmark X3470 AIO was designed for home users who demand a reliable multifunction printer with broad general purpose functionality at an affordable price. With premium photo features, print speeds up to 17 ppm, as well as a 48-bit color scanner and color copier, the versatile X3470 is a perfect choice for consumers who need one machine to do it all. With PictBridge, card slots, and Lexmark’s first scannable photo proof sheet, the X3470 makes photo printing a snap. Working directly from a memory card, users can print a proof sheet that displays thumbnail images of all their photos, then select the images they wish to print by marking directly onto the proof sheet. They can then scan the sheet to print brilliant, borderless 4x6-inch photos automatically.

Lexmark X2470 AIO with PictBridge
The X2470 is Lexmark’s new three-in-one printer, incorporating direct photo printing, scanning and copying functionality into one sleek, compact unit at the best price point in its class. A perfect choice for busy households with multiple users, the X2470 prints at speeds up to 17 ppm and copies and scans with the touch of a single button. Consumers can plug their cameras directly into the easily accessible front-panel PictBridge port and press a single button to print borderless 4X6 photos.

The X3470 and X2470 both feature Lexmark’s specially designed #1 cartridge, which produces vibrant photos, color graphics and text with a single technology-rich cartridge, eliminating the cost and hassles of buying multiple cartridges.

Lexmark introduces new Web toolbar
Included with the purchase of the Lexmark X3470 and X2470 is the new Lexmark Web Toolbar, which makes it easy to format and print pages, text and photos from the Web. With a just a few clicks, users can choose what they want to print from their favorite Web sites, eliminating advertisements, and other unwanted elements. While viewing the Web site, they can easily choose to print the whole page or just the text without cutting off the edges. Lexmark’s Web Toolbar also enables users to adjust the size of photos, as well as select normal or draft quality printing options.

Lexmark X1270 AIO
The new Lexmark X1270 is the industry’s price-leading AIO and a perfect choice for the cost-conscious consumer looking for great everyday print/copy/scan functionality. For less than $50*, consumers will get the quality, speed and ease of use they demand in their home printer — along with an attractive new color scheme. The X1270 delivers speeds up to 17/9 ppm for black/color printing, as well as up to 4,800 dpi print quality, a 48-bit color scanner and color copier.

Pricing and availability
The Lexmark X3470 has an estimated net price of $75* after a $25 mail-in rebate. The Lexmark X2470 has an estimated retail price of $59*, while the Lexmark X1270 has an estimated retail price of $49.99*. These AIOs will be available in May on Lexmark.com and at popular retailers, including Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Staples and Target.
