New Canon DSLR Imminent

The Canon Inc and Europe websites are both running teaser adverts for a new DSLR camera. The “Destined Evolution” campaign gives little away, other than the rather cryptic message “The EOS story continues...See the future of photography...Stay tuned” and what looks like a DSLR without a pop-up flash…

3. It seems this time no replacements from Canon. Canon's silence is something like a calm day before storm.And the storm will hit the competition.I expect new sensor technology to FF iso range up to 12800 ( one stop ahead D700 also) but I think Canon considers more Sony than Nikon and I expect to see two FF body.One is 5D replacement(probably called 7D) against D300-D700 and the other (again may be called 3D) is for Sony's A900. Cheaper one (7D) will be at 16,2 mp that correspond 35mm film lines digitally.(lightweight good plastic body semi or full weather sealing) The second one will address the medium format pros especially and it will be between 24-30mp. Both of them shares new sensor technology with Digic IV but I guess not the same CMOS technology with 50D-gapless pixels because 1,6 crop sensors maximizes their edges of physics especially iso field.Maybe It is something like gapless one but much more complicated and ultimate sensivity ( a new production material for CMOS ?) I am sure both bodies covers sophisticated and unheard innovations this time.That is why Canon claims it is the destined evolution.And as adds shouts the predicted goal of the company has been achieved.MAybe I will be wrong all above but I am sure one thing that Conon will give the ultimate answer to all soon. Hurra for Canon...

7. why should your D20 be worth less? It's still the same camera. If you want to sell it, you won't get much for it but if you have taken good pictures with it, you can do so in the future. A new camera does not make and old one any worse.

    First You do not know how to get into any conversation.It is then meaningless to speak or write English fluently or any other language.Cause you do not know the basics.I just said my views here,maybe they all wrong but it seems not more than You. Firts of all ''No replacement'' means this is not a make up model.This new model is not the fallower of the old models that has some tricky modern features added as a market game.It has new techs inside maybe new innovations hasn't heard of yet.Anyway you may not understand this time again, may be you are kind of that romantic ''gapless'' Nikoanians who overexited with D300-700.That time digest and dream on..
