Official Sony Alpha DSLR Pictures

Sony Alpha DSLRSony have released some official photos of their new DSLR prototypes that were first revealed back at PMA in March. The images reveal a little more detail than the rudimentary models that were being displayed under glass at the show. One of these new Sony DSLR models (as yet unconfirmed) is due to be launched this year.

  1. Wow, they are sticking with the hard edges? A brave choice, I like it.

It'll be very interesting to see if they can compete with the very high quality and features of present high end models, particulaly Canon's 1D III.

  2. So they're going for the Pro market only, huh?

Where's the built-in flash? Sony is making a mistake by not including one and making a solid Consumer-friendly model of one of these.

  3. The first one has a pop-up flash.

  6. K: who uses internal flash anyway? I mean, that's not the best option if you can afford DSL you should find some 350-400$ for external flash, imho.
