Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ5 Photos

Here are the sample photos from my upcoming review of the new 6 megapixel Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ5, a couple of days before the full review is online. The Panasonic LZ5 is a fairly compact digital camera with a long 6x optical zoom lens equivalent to 37mm to 222mm on a 35mm film camera, optical image stabilzer and and a 2.5 inch LCD screen. 1. The files look rather nice for a camera in its class IMHO (withouth checking Exifs and such).
   
   The sensor seems to pick up a lot of fine details, although on screen the jpegs seem a bit oversharpened, which leaves shadowy bits a bit blodgy...looking forward to the review

7. Reading the specifications on the official web site, DMC-LZ5 has a "High Sensitivity Mode: 800 - 1,600" at lower resolution. I really want to samples taken in this mode.

   Don't mean to complain, but I gueass I am really.
   
   In all the shots you post with your revies there are never any portrait or group shots, in fact very few people at all.
   As I mainly shoot this type of photo I am very interested to see the skin tones and low light, cafe or bar, type exposures.
   
   Also very few high intensity color shots.
   
   The shots you post are great, it's just that they seem to all cover similar shooting situations.
   
   Would it be possible to broaden the scope of the shoots posted?

9. Well, I guess the test shots reflect the kind of photography that I like, plus I don't live near enough to family members to be able to get them to pose! I will endeavour in future to try and include more people photos.
