 The Samsung S1060 is a new 10.2 megapixel, entry-level compact digital camera. The S1060 features a 5x optical zoom lens, 2.7 inch LCD screen, Face Detection mode and 14 scene modes. The price and availability of the Samsung S1060 have yet to be announced.

The 10.2 mega-pixel S1060 is the latest addition to the Samsung’s award-winning S range. It features, 5x optical zoom, 5x digital zoom and ISO 1600. The S1060 is equipped with a 2.7” LCD screen and the Samsung Digital Image Stabilization system. It also offers Samsung’s Intelligent Face Recognition Technology, which can recognize the faces of up to nine people, setting the appropriate exposure to ensure the highest image quality.
