The Nikon D80 digital SLR camera is officially announced. In one of the most protracted launches ever, where even Nikon themselves leaked pictures of the new camera and several sites started D80 forums, we can finally tell you about the 10 megapixel Nikon D80, which will cost £699.99 body only in the UK. The D80 is also available in kit form with the 18-70mm lens for £899.99, and the new 18-135mm lens for £949.99. Early September is the anticipated release date.
