Microsoft are reportedly testing a prototype imaging device that automatically records a constant stream of images, up to 2,000 for 12 hours a day. Dubbed Sensecam, the new technology is being demonstrated at the annual TechFest, hosted by Microsoft Research (found via Engadget.

“The prototype responds to changes such as bright lights and sudden movements and might one day even respond to other stimuli such as heart rate or skin temperature - to track medical problems as easily as to record a Hawaiian vacation.”
