NEW ‘HOW-TO’ PORTRAITS DVD RELEASED - £14.95 inc UK p+p
Former Sunday Times photographer Philip Dunn has launched the second instructional DVD in his PhotoGuru series. This new DVD is aimed at photographers of all levels wanting to improve their portraits using natural light.
The 60 minute tutorial was filmed in SW Scotland, where Philip now runs photography courses. Following the success of his first DVD ‘Light and Composition’, the new DVD uses the familiar ‘keep-it-simple’, non-technical format.
The instruction is based on sound, practical guidance from a highly experienced professional with an international reputation for capturing evocative images of people and places, often against deadlines and in the most difficult situations. Even experienced photographers should improve their craft if they apply the techniques demonstrated here.
• Practical, fun, non-technical tuition
• How to keep ‘cool’ and gain confidence
• Real-life, portrait assignments
• Understanding backgrounds, props, clothes and locations
• Dozens of example photographs and tips
• How to use light and colour to change the mood
• How to get the best from your model
