JP Distribution has announced the UK availability of the new ProtectR security sleeve from BlackRapid. Featuring a strong 1.5mm gauge cable that wraps around BlackRapid camera straps to prevent them from being cut from behind, the BlackRapid ProtectR also adds a level of deterrence by featuring two small cut-aways in the thermoset polymer fabric (TPF) to reveal the steel cable inside. The security sleeve comes in two sizes, regular (£27) and long (£30).

BlackRapid ProtectR Security Sleeve

JP Distribution is pleased to announce the new ProtectR security sleeve from award winning manufacturer BlackRapid.

ProtectR features a strong 1.5mm gauge cable enclosed in 16oz rugged, thermoset polymer fabric (TPF), which wraps around BlackRapid camera straps to prevent the strap from being cut from behind. This added protection in unfamiliar surroundings.

In addition to making the strap safe and secure, the ProtectR adds a level of deterrence by featuring two small cut-aways in the TPF to reveal the inside cable, so photographers can focus on living in and capturing the moment, and not worrying about their gear.

There are 2 ProtectR security sleeves available;

ProtectR (Regular) - £27 Inc VAT
For use when straps are extended half length.

ProtectR (Long) - £30 Inc VAT
For use when straps are extended full length.
