I looked up from writing the Ricoh G4 review, prompted by lightning and thunder, and saw this outside. Snow in North London - whatever next?!

(the wonky colour balance is a combination of taking the shots in JPEG mode instead of RAW, leaving Photoshop to its own devices via Auto-Levels, and me being too lazy to fix it…).

Wow. We had about 4-5 inches here about three weeks ago (we don't normally get snow either).

Must be that 'global warming thing' I always hear about. grin

I'd sure take your blizzard vs the weather we've been having in Washington, DC! <grin>.

Haha...I'm sure all of you would take your current weather over ours in Calgary and most of Western Canada. The weather on Monday/Tuesday was -38 degrees C and it feels like -55 degrees C with the windchill! We had about 20-30 cm of snow fall overnight! How fun eh?

wanna trade?
I'll take -50°C and loads of powder over this any day.
Current situation ~10cm of wet snow (yes it can all melt in one day) and about -1°C

If you include a season ticket for heliskiing I'll be on your doorstep in 10h wink
