In the UK, the blue version of the recently announced Fujifilm Finepix J30 will be sold exclusively by Jessops. Priced at £129, the Fuji Finepix J30 is a 12 megapixel digital compact camera with a 3x optical zoom and a 2.7” LCD screen. Onboard features include Auto Scene Recognition, Face Detection and a brand new Panoramic Shooting Mode that allows the user to seamlessly stitch together three consecutive shots for a final panoramic image. The Fujifilm Finepix J30 is the second Finepix model this year whose blue variant is exclusive to Jessops - previously, the retailer announced that the Fujifilm Finepix A170 in blue would also be available from Jessops only.

Jessops announces the new exclusive Fuji J30 in bright blue

Weighing in at a light 130g this camera houses features that punch above its weight. The J30’s Auto Scene Recognition automatically detects the type of photo being taken and selects the optimum mode - so whether it is night, landscape or a portrait photo you get the perfect shot. The panoramic shooting mode allows the user to seamlessly stitch together three consecutive shots for an impressive panorama effect.

The Fuji Finepix J30 is also particularly good for taking those family portraits. It uses a combination of Face Detection and Automatic Red Eye Removal to make sure that faces are kept in focus and are kept free of Red Eye.
