Nevercenter has officially released CameraBag Desktop for Windows, a photo editing program featuring a range of vintage photography filters. CameraBag started out a year ago as an iPhone app, followed by a desktop version for the Mac earlier this year. CameraBag Desktop offers a new approach to photo editing, which is allegedly not found in any other Windows photo software. “We think Windows users, like Mac and iPhone users, will really respond to CameraBag’s streamlined approach,” said Thomas Plewe, Nevercenter President. “Most of our users already have a complex editor such as Photoshop, but they gravitate to CameraBag for its quick, professional results. CameraBag does all the hard work while still giving users artistic control.”

Press Release

CAMERABAG VINTAGE IPHONE PHOTO APP NOW AVAILABLE FOR WINDOWS

Dec. 10, 2009 - Following a year of top sales and critical success with their popular vintage photo app CameraBag for iPhone, and just two months after the release of CameraBag Desktop for Mac, Nevercenter this week officially released CameraBag Desktop for Windows.

The new photo editing software features the signature CameraBag vintage photo filters that have made it a favorite in the growing iPhone photography (or “iPhoneography”) community. The sophisticated algorithms in the filters respond uniquely to each photo for the best possible result, and with the power of CameraBag on a PC, users can edit even the largest photos from a digital SLR camera.

CameraBag Desktop offers a new approach to photo editing not found in any other Windows photo software, including “Multi-filter” mode, which allows users to layer filters to stunning effect, and the “Reprocess” button, which allows users to subtly re-tune the filters each time the button is pressed, for infinite variations.

“We think Windows users, like Mac and iPhone users, will really respond to CameraBag’s streamlined approach,” said Thomas Plewe, Nevercenter President. “Most of our users already have a complex editor such as Photoshop*, but they gravitate to CameraBag for its quick, professional results. CameraBag does all the hard work while still giving users artistic control.”

CameraBag Desktop for Windows is available now for $19 US. The download includes a free software demo and can be found at: http://www.nevercenter.com/camerabag/. The digital photography software is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, and a single license includes full access to CameraBag Desktop for Mac. The Windows version is a free upgrade for existing Mac users.

I have the camera bag app on my iphone and there are at least two more filters and I use them all the time--the fisheye filter and the infrared filter. I will not buy this until those two are added.
