Canon 10D Review at DPReview

Mark Goldstein | Canon EOS 10D | March 31, 2003 | 4 Comments

Canon EOS 10DAs if to cruelly taunt my recent decision to ignore the Canon EOS 10D (see today’s earlier post), Phil Askey at DPReview has posted his review of Canon’s new DSLR. You can’t get much higher praise than this…

“I have no concerns in stating that as things stand (at the time of writing this review) the EOS-10D is the absolute best in class, with the best image quality, lowest high sensitivity noise, superb build quality and excellent price (not to mention the huge choice of lenses).”

I'm waiting just a tad longer. There's a few lenses I need to get first before I can justify a new body. I'd really love to have the 1Ds. God, I need to start playing the lottery... wink

The 1Ds? Now that is a big leap from film!

I already have the lenses for the 10D - Canon 20-35mm, Canon 50mm and Tamron 70-300mm. So I may well jump in feet first after all...
