Canon Digital IXUS 850 IS Review at DPReview

Mark Goldstein | Digital Compact Cameras | January 12, 2007 | 1 Comments

Canon SD800 ISDPReview have taken a look at the Canon Digital IXUS 850 IS (known as the Canon SD800 IS in the United States).

“So then, what Canon gives with one hand - the wider lens, better screen and other tweaks - it takes away with the other (reduced image quality). But the SD800 IS still has all the qualities I loved so much in the SD700; it’s fun, reliable, has image stabilization, is built and styled beautifully and it produces attractive, punchy results without the need for manual intervention.”

Glad I chose the SD700 IS for my wife's birthday last January. It's one
year later, and I still haven't seen anything better ... though I have my
eye on the Casio Exilim Hi-Zoom EX-V7. You never have enough zoom. smile
