Canon EFS 10-22mm LensAs well as the new Canon EOS 20D and 17-85mm EF-S lens, there are also official product shots of an exciting new wideangle lens, the Canon EF-S 10-22mm f3.5-4.5. Great news for all you ESO 300D owners out there who have yet to add a wideangle lens to your kit.

wow, that's good news. Finally some really wide angle. I hope it won't be more than $250

If it's really a USM-IS lens, probably more than $250. Regardless, if I shot Canon, I'd probably want one.

It's an EF-S lens.... not an IS.
In fact... IS (Image Stabilizer) doesn't make much sens for wide-angle lenses.
EF-S means that it doesn't fit to a standard EF camera (mirror is too big...), but it does fit to the new EF-S lensmounts like the 300D (smaller mirror...). This means it's also not compatible to Canon 10D bodies. :(
