Had the camera for about 2 months and shot the first 10,000 without any problems.....Fast is not the word, more like machine Gun !......Excellent Resolution, Fast operation, 1 button settings, Gorgeous Display Bright and accurate on the 1/2 way setting...Lighter then the older D1 series, Battery goes forever up to 3,000 pics on one charge if you limit LCD and Live View....With Live view around 300 shots.....Colors arebeautiful and you can play with them in any way you want inc. the Monochrome setting. This is a DREAM camera, I just traded my D1s MKII, for 2 of these..If you are shooting a 5D you are used to low noise, The MKIII retires the 5D when it comes to noisless images !...Iso 3200 on The MK III is equivalent to Iso 400 on The 1DS and The 5D...NO BULL.........If you have $4,500 to $6,000 get one......They Are Hard To Get.........
