Canon EOS-1D Mark III Review at Steves Digicams

Mark Goldstein | Digital SLR Cameras | August 30, 2007 | 1 Comments

Canon EOS-1D Mark IIISteves Digicams have reviewed the new Canon EOS-1D Mark III DSLR camera.

“You can even select the JPEG + RAW mode and capture both image formats at the same time. You can set your own JPEG compression ratio as well as vary the image sharpness, chose one of five color matrix (color space) settings and even upload your own custom tone curves. The 1D Mark III’s JPEG image quality is awesome, and its RAW images provide the raw materials to create photographs that fit your own definition of excellence.”

Looking forward to seeing how much of these improvements not only make it to the 1Ds Mark III but also hold up to the weight of 21 megapixel RAW files. Or even if the lenses can support it.
