An article over on Rob Galbraith states that the Canon EOS 20D is due to begin shipping the week of September 13, 2004. You may be lucky to get hold of one if you haven’t pre-ordered, however, as “Canon USA is anticipating that it will take a couple of months before supply begins to catch up with demand for the 8MP, 5 fps camera.”

Hey, for those of you tired of Canon's industry domination, just wait till September 16th. My shop's Nikon rep says they'll announce some seriously awesome cameras that day. Oh, and don't forget about Olympus, Pentax, and KonicaMinolta's new dSLRs that will likely be announced by the end of the month. Scr3w Canon, I say. With Canon, all you're paying for is the name, and their advertizing campaigns.
