Thank you so much for sharing this info and the pix. The potential of this camera with its video and low light capabilities is so great that I created a wiki for the 5d. People have been collecting video and still samples from around the world that is very helpful to anyone thinking about buying the mk ii or wanting to see what it can do... http://planet5d.com - we've added this blog post to the wiki to help spread the word.

the video jumps every second or so.. was the CF card used to record it fast enough? That jumping is no good..

Peter - the videos play fine for me on my iMac... possibly your computer? Have you tried any of the other videos from the mk ii?

The card used was an 8Gb Sandisk UDMA.
As Mitch says, your PC is possibly the cause of the jumping.

Thanks for these videos. I see tearing on panning, is that my computer or the camera?

I can't see any EXIF info. Is there a way so I can see this? Whithout Exif info posting these pics doesn't mean that much.

How come nearly all of these seem fuzzy/blurry/out-of-focus? Previous samples on other sites some the same.
Are the lenses incapable of resolving the 21MP or or is there something wrong with the AF system?

Without seeing the EXIF data, the sample images don't tell me much. Other than the few where you hit sweet spot of lens used and focus it does show how much detail it can capture, impressive. The video on my computer jumps around also. I have seen several different video samples from this camera and they all play fine, not sure why that is

I've now added 10 JPEGs and 3 RAW images taken in sunnier conditions.
You can see the EXIF data by downloading the image and using a program that can read the data (e.g. Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop or Apple Aperture).
You could also try a Google search for "free exif viewer"...

Is the guy in the first video a potential terrorist? The way he is looking about and moving does suggest something odd.

The photos are impressive but has canon fixed the focus problem, increased the focal poins?and For the extra dollars for the 5Dmk11 against the nikon D700 is the final solution going with old tech against 21st century???
