Canon EOS Kiss X7 White Edition

Canon Japan has announced a white-grey edition of its EOS Kiss X7 (a.k.a. 100D and Rebel SL1) digital SLR camera. The first-ever white SLR from Canon is complemented by a 18-55mm STM and 40mm f/2.8 STM lens sporting the same colour scheme. Availability is slated for 28 November 2013. Pricing has yet to be communicated.

WOW, what a huge disappointment. I guess the koreans love white stuff though.

I'm in the minority juding by most camera forums but I like it, it's cool to see Canon try something other than a black camera (on their DSLR models), even if other people were hoping for some juicy technical upgrades.

Good job canon! Sony unleashes Full Frame mirrorless cameras on the world and what have you got? A white camera. Way to go! Pentax had these in hundred colors about 4 years ago.
