I feel bad for the Sony F828 owners, there is a new player in town. I looked at the sample photos, I see noise at ISO 50. I wish the had sample photos at higher ISO levels.

I printed the image of the bridge on Epson Enhanced Matte paper on my 2000P at 360 dpi with no interpolation and can't see any noise, just an excellent print. The resolution and color look great!
I recommend making a print to determine quality. Don't just look at a 100% crop on the monitor.
I'm sure this camera will have short comings in certain areas. All cameras are compromises but the print I made of the bridge was very good. I also printed a shot of a pink hotel from I think Canon's Japan site and it was also quite good. That image was made at f/4 at ISO 50.
