Imaging Resource have just reviewed the Canon SD800 IS digital camera.
“Like the SD900, the Canon SD800 also features Face Detect focusing in Portrait mode. This is one of those gotta-have features. As soon as you try it, you won’t want to be without it. Slip into Portrait Scene mode with Face Detect enabled and the camera identifies the closest face, focusing on it when you half-press the Shutter button. You can even have the Canon SD800 automatically tag the images with a People category for easy retrieval during playback later.”
