Canon UK Launches Online Store for Consumables and Accessories
Canon UK Press Release
Canon UK, world leader in digital imaging technology, today announced the launch of its online consumables and accessories shop. The new, online ‘Canon Store’ can be accessed through Canon’s existing web pages at http://www.canon.co.uk . A wide range of printing consumables, including Canon’s high-quality ink & toner cartridges as well as a variety of print media are being stocked alongside popular accessories such as camera cases and battery packs. These products, which are not always easy to find on the high street, are now available to purchase online directly from Canon for the first time.
“Our network of hundreds of retail partners up and down the country provide a fantastic service for Canon’s customers – particularly in terms of hardware sales,” commented Nico Michaelides, Marketing Director, CCI Canon UK. “The online ‘Canon Store’ will complement our traditional retail network by giving Canon’s customers a way of buying those all important added extras that retailers can’t always provide valuable shelf space for. Customers have been telling us that they want to be able to quickly and easily purchase additional products, such as our Canon-branded camera cases, fit-for-purpose inks and special papers designed for high-quality printing. The new online store provides them with access to these products and many more.”

Yeeeeeeees!!!!!!!! At last my dreams are answered! Living in Spain it is sometimes a right PITA trying to get Canon gear.
I was in a major Spanish chainstore last week asking for red ink for the Canon i9950 printer. The guy laughed at me and told me the magenta ink in my hand was red.
After a couple of minutes of my best Spanish a crowd of store workers gathered around laughing and saying that Magenta was Red.
I bet every single one of them €100 that red ink exists and they all needed to go back to training school.
One of them went to Canons website and his face was a f**king picture when he saw red AND green ink for the printers they even sell in the shop!
They still didn´t have it in the store though....nice one Canon!
