Prizes from the Photojojo store will be awarded to five honorable mention winners. Photojojo publishes a twice-weekly newsletter with photo tips, do-it-yourself projects and photography gear.
CEA research shows more than 84 percent of U.S. households own digital cameras, and 61 percent of those who have used their cameras in the last year consider themselves active photographers.
“With digital photography, there are many opportunities to go beyond uploading to a computer, including online sharing, printing, creating digital photo frames and producing fun photo projects,” said Colleen Lerro, communications specialist at CEA. “Through this contest, CEA is encouraging people to do more with their ‘best shots.’”
The Best Shots photo contest judges will include Dave Johnson, PC World’s Digital Focus; Mike McEnaney, Photo Industry Reporter; and Steve Tiffen, Tiffen Company.
