Ok, is it just me, or does this app look completely dumb. Lame effects that you can already do in photoshop. good luck with that.

Bubba... it's you smile

The "lame" effects are provided for free by Mac OS X (10.4). They just released an update that leverages free filters provided by the OS. The application's raison d'etre is producing comics from collections of photos. IMHO it's brilliant at what it does. Extremely intuitive and easy-to-use. With a sprinkling of humour, you can turn otherwise worthless photos into an amusing comic strip.

I bought a copy after trialling it for a couple of hours. The application has nothing to do with photography and everything to do with comic creation.
