DCResource Reviews Minolta DiMAGE A1

Mark Goldstein | Digital Compact Cameras | December 11, 2003 | 1 Comments

Minolta DiMAGE A1DCResource have just published their review of the Minolta DiMAGE A1, which seems to have got a positive response from the photography world so far and is looking like a serious contender to the Sony DSC F-828.

“There’s a lot to like about the Minolta DiMAGE A1. It’s a worthy upgrade to the already-nice DiMAGE 7Hi, and it’s also one of the best “prosumer” cameras out there. The most important thing about a camera is photo quality, and the A1 does not disappoint, with photo quality that is competitive with the competition. Then there’s performance, where the A1 performs better than average, even in low lighting conditions.”

I have recently begun having trouble with my A1. When I turn on the camera, I only seek static lines running vertically across the EVF. Has anyone else reported this problem? What actions can I take to troubleshoot this and correct the issue?

Please HELP!
