DP-Now Announces October Competition Winner
The winner of the 2nd Round of the DP-Now Greek Gods photo competition, sponsored by Olympus UK, has just been announced. My entry made it into the final 12, but sadly wasn’t good enough to win the prize of £500 worth of Olympus equipment. Damn! Congratulations to Chris Roberts and his winning entry “Swan in Scotland”.

Well done, Mark. Was yours the Notting Hill Carnival photo?

Better luck next time - although not *too* much luck, seeing as I'm going to enter as well.

Cheers Jon. Yep, that was my photo - how did you know?!

BTW, have you entered the PhotographyBLOG Competition yet?

Call it an educated guess.
I haven't entered your competition yet, no... I find "Autumn colour" a really hard topic to do justice to - and it's getting a little late, most of the trees around here are starting to look a little bare! I have a few ideas, however. And they don't involve trees.
Cheers,
J

Autumn colour without trees!? That's sacrilege!
Yeah, the trees down South have mostly shed their leaves now. A shame because it's been one of the most colourful Autumns that I can remember.
