DxO Labs have just released DxO Optics Pro 8.3.2 for Mac and Windows. This upgrade allows DxO Optics Pro 8 to provide support for the Canon EOS 70D (pictured), as well as for the Sony DSC-RX1R full-frame compact camera. DxO Optics Pro 8.3.2 also benefits from the addition of new DxO Optics Modules. 445 new camera/lens combinations round out the library, which today counts more than 14,000 available DxO Optics Modules. This update is free to all owners of DxO Optics Pro 8, as well as to all photographers who bought a DxO Optics Pro 7 license on or after 1 September 2012.

DxO Optics Pro v8.3.2 supports the Canon EOS 70D and the Sony DSC-RX1R

October 2, 2013 – DxO Labs announces the immediate availability of DxO Optics Pro v8.3.2 for Mac and Windows, the new version of its award-winning image-processing software of reference for all demanding photographers

This upgrade allows DxO Optics Pro 8 to provide support for the latest expert consumer DSLR, the 20.2-million pixel EOS 70D, as well as for Sony’s full-format compact, the DSC-RX1R.

Based on an exclusive process of prior laboratory calibration, DxO Optics Pro 8 includes many powerful and automatic tools for processing RAW and JPEG images. The software provides the most advanced lens corrections on the market, the best tool for adjusting light and contrast, and precise and accurate color management. DxO Optics Pro 8 was awarded the 2013 TIPA prize for Best Photo Software, the 2013-2014 EISA prize for Photo Software, and the 2013 Hot One prize for Capture/Processing from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

New DxO Optics Modules

DxO Optics Pro v8.3.2 also benefits from the addition of new DxO Optics Modules. 445 new camera/lens combinations round out the library, which today counts more than 14,000 available DxO Optics Modules. DxO Optics Modules contain copious information about the characteristics of each camera and lens. This unique database allows DxO Optics Pro 8 to automatically correct distortion, vignetting, chromatic aberrations, and lens softness with an unrivaled level of quality.
