Even though it is 2010, I love my Olympus C-5060 camera. Firsly, it is a made of Magnesium Alloy. It has an pull out viewfinder, which you can turn. Also, comes with remote control. So if you are in a tourist destination, you can keep the camera n somethings, wait until passers have moved on and then hit the remote control. You can add additional lens like the Raynox.
What I love the most is the 'colours' on the olympus camera.
Even though, it is a 5.1M camera, don't let that put you off. Picture quality matters.
The only thing the Olympus C-5060WZ lacks is image stabilisation, so you need steady hands at night time. But I have taken some amazing night shots!
The only reason, I am writting this is that I am trying to find a camera to beat the my Olympus C-5060 WZ and I am strugling. The C-5060 has developed a fault. So I am struggling to find a good replacement and the stuff that is is on the market is disapointting.
I have read so much about Panasonic cameras, my sister has one too, but when I compare the shots, I just think her Panasonic is not that great (certainly in terms of colours). So I beginning to think that everything about Panasonic cameras is just a load of hype.
The same goes for a friend that had a Sony camera and we compared shots and I thought the Olympus did a better job.
I seem to be drawn back to the Olympus C-5060 and I am looking one on eBay! (wish me luck).
I did buy a Olympus C-8080, which is a great camera, but it is too heavy and bigger (the lens stick out).
