ePhotoZine Reviews X’S Drive II
ePhotoZine have also reviewed the X’S Drive II from Vosonic, a neat and inexpensive backup device for your digital images. I own the original version, which isn’t all that different to this new model, and have been using it without any problems for the last 4 months.
”...a multitude of devices are appearing that allow you to backup your memory card to a CD or hard-disk whilst on the move. The Vosonic X’S-Drive II we’re looking at here uses a hard-disk, in this case a 20Gb one, although it is available with larger drives. It uses a fast USB 2.0 interface and at a glance offers a quick and simple method of backing up our memory cards.”

Hi again Mark, as I commented in your other piece, I reviewed the X's Drive II over three months ago at:

Hi Ian,

I did link to your review of the XS-Drive when you originally posted it on DP-Now

The more reviews the merrier in my opinion!

You're doing a great job, Mark but as you are updating so much now a lot of still-new stuff (I don't mean the old link to my review of course!) slides off the bottom of your front page prematurely.
What do you think?
Ian
PS dp-now updates have cranked up too; about 60 new items in the last month.

I know what you mean about the new stuff disappearing pretty quickly...Hmmmm...there is a categories feature that I haven't implemented which might be useful - every entry is assigned a category like "Digital" or "Film", and you can browse for all the entries in a specific category.
The PhotographyBLOG newsletter does contain links to everything that has been posted during the last week, so that's a good way to catch-up.
Otherwise I'm relying on people just reading everything that's on the page for the current calendar month.
