Epson Stylus Photo R2880 Review

Mark Goldstein | Printers | May 29, 2008 | 1 Comments

Epson Stylus Photo R2880Photo-i have reviewed the Epson Stylus Photo R2880, a new professional A3+ photo printer.

“I waded through several presentations on this printer and although I have not heard the marketing team spinning out their spiel, I can imagine they will go to town on the new technology incorporated in the R2880. Yes, it is impressive and I am convinced that it is the best thing since sliced bread and I love the Emperors new clothing too. At the end of the day the printer speaks for itself, it does produce wonderful photographs, I can’t imagine, or would want, a printer producing a better picture than reality itself.”

I notice in his example of printer setup he is using 1440X1440 DPI instead of the maximum ability of this printer. Is that normal, or are tests different.
