The WP-DC34 housing is actually a Canon product. The Fantasea announcement concerns the availability of the above listed accessories (G series BigEye wide-angle conversion lenses, the SharpEye M67 close-up lens, the RedEye filter G10/G11, the Remora and Nano Single Pro and Nano Double Pro lighting sets) for the Canon G11 and the WP-DC34 housing. We apologise for the confusion.

If you look carefully, you will see that the focus ligth once again have been consealed behind the flash diffuser screen on the UW-house. Damned. It's very important to keep the focus light able to beam throu the underwater housing. Ligth and focusing aide matters a lot when you are at the bottom of the sea and the ligth is very low. It makes the difference between a focused picture and a blurred one. So please! A new design for the UW house is mostly wanted.

Really good camera, Canon G11 with a WP-DC34 Housing, but the main problem in it is that the housing is not really compatible with external wide-angle or macro lenses. Only Fantasea produces right now lenses for this housing. People who own different lenses would be really gratefull if there would be a adapter or thread port for their lenses. These lenses are compatible with housings produced for IXUS series, results can be seen at http://www.waterworldshots.com

I have not seen the G11 but for the G10 my initial impressions were the same. I later found out that the upper left button acts like an activator button and if you press it, you can control all the manual settings like aperture and shutter speed using other buttons instead of the dial. Its a bit clumsy to do at first but one would get the hang of it.
