Uzair Kharawala has announced the release of Foto SF Lite, as well as that of a new version of Foto SF Pro. The new version comes with a brand new sleek interface and with new features such as SMS messaging, improved mail merge, email management, better workflow module, sales lead generation tracking and conversion reports. As far as Foto SF Lite is concerned, it is aimed at the single-user business without any need of hosting over a network. Foto SF, the Filemaker-based database software for photographers, have released a new version for their award-winning software. I found this product through a thread on LinkedIn and am currently trying out the trial version.
Having recently gone full time managing both existing clients and new ones is something that has been bothering me for a while. With many systems being too expensive to consider this Lite version is like a breath of fresh air, especially with the possibility to upgrade as needs change over time.
