Fujifilm Japan have announced a delay in shipping the X100 camera and accessories to customers. Blaming higher than expected demand for the shortage of the X100, the LC-X100 case and the LH-X100 lens hood, Fujifilm have promised to urgently increase production to satisfy orders. The X100 officially starting shipping in Japan last week, and reports are filtering through that small numbers of pre-orders have been met in the UK from this week.

I reallly like look of Fujifilm camera. Very "Leica-esque". £1000 though... hmm. Maybe after the cheque from Camelot PLC had cleared and I'd bought all my desired DSLR goodies first.

I should imagine its a lot of fun to use though and I'd enjoy experimenting with it and having it as part of my kit.

It is a very nice looking camera, both it's specs. and physical appearance. However I have made a promise to myself not to but another camera in this category until there is a full size chip option. Come on Leica.... Make a X1+ with the chip out of the M9 and it will sell in bucket loads....
