Samyang Full-Frame Lenses with Sony E mount

Samyang has introduced lenses with Sony E-mount to increase its selection of 35mm full-frame lenses compatible with the newest Sony Alpha 7 and 7R cameras.

Following the announcement issued on October, Samyang released five full-frame lenses fitted with the bayonet Sony E-mount, including:

• Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC

• Samyang 24mm f/1.4 ED AS IF UMC

• Samyang T-S 24mm f/3.5 ED AS UMC

• Samyang 35mm f/1.4 AS UMC

• Samyang 85mm f/1.4 AS IF UMC

Wider selection of lenses currently available with this mount will enable users of Sony Alpha and Sony NEX cameras to take advantage of the best quality optics without any additional adapters. The lenses have been prepared for 35mm format, which makes them a perfect tool not only for Sony Alpha 7 and 7R cameras fitted with full-frame sensor but also for models with APS-C sensor, including Sony NEX-7.

I see Sony is making a push with the A7r body, the biggest bonus is that this body takes whatever lens you want to attach to it. As a Toronto Wedding Photographers It makes it very nice camera body addition to whatever you own Nikon or Canon. Good Job Sony, I might be purchasing the A7r soon.

Just received my A7R and can't wait to put it to the test. I was also going to start a wedding photography business in Toronto, but it's just too cold there, plus it's full of Canadians. So I went somewhere warmer and now have a thriving business with http://www.jalalabadweddingphotography.com. Hopefully the A7R will cope with 40 Deg C and 3 inches of rain, at the same time. Is it weatherproof? Forgot to check.

I am completely delighted with my A7R. As a practicing proctologist in Canada (http://www.assdoctor.com) I get to see a lot of assholes who have found me via my website (http://www.assdoctor.com), and I publish the photo's on my website (http://www.assdoctor.com)where they can be viewed at http://www.assdoctor.com.

Hi Bert, you are correct Toronto Wedding Photography is very cold up here LOL I am looking for a second camera in the bag to attach my Canon EF 16-35mm hate having to interchange lenses in-between, I like the big Megapixels since Canon is not coming out with one was wondering how it functions. Good luck with the business.
