Rachel Scott-RenoufIn a brand new series, we cast the spotlight on members of the PhotographyBLOG Gallery and ask them about their photography. The fifth member to sit in the interview chair is Rachel Scott-Renouf.

“I love taking close up photos of insects etc because you can often see a lot more detail when enlarging the photo on the computer than you can with your own eyes and that fascinates me. What just looks like another bug can turn out to be very beautiful and interesting.”

Congratulations to Rachel for having such an honour bestowed upon her! ;) Rachel is my favourite photographer on this site, as her photos show a wonderful tenderness as well as astonishing detail and technical brilliance. I don't think there's anything to add, so well done Rachel! :)

Well done to Rachel on obtaining her place in the 'Spotlight'.
Rachel's work is always a delight to study, it is so rare to find any of her photos wanting for any improvement. Rachel's macro work has set me a standard to aim for, but it will be a hard taget to hit! Keep up the good work Rachel!

What a wonderful inspiration you are, Rachel! The old saying about "send me someone that reads" is renewed with your final comment, it is obvious that you are a reader, and, now, a teacher. These images will inspire so many to appreciate what you discovered. Thank you for your wonderful pictures! I wish you the very best!
