Gallery Member Spotlight - Tootsie
In a brand new series, we cast the spotlight on members of the PhotographyBLOG Gallery and ask them about their photography. The first member to sit in the interview chair is Tootsie.
“I concentrate on nature because that is my passion, conservation of our wildlife and the rest of the natural world is at a critical point. Most people probably would not realise that in the last 30 years we have lost close to 40% of our butterfly and insect population worldwide, and the same goes for most species on our planet. So my hope through my photography and many more like me, is that we will spark more awareness of this problem to the younger generation.”

I found this article to be very interesting, having always admired the photos posted by Tootsie. The standard of this photographer's output is always very high, and for me the content of the article adds even more interest to her work. :)

Nice article about one of my favourite photographers on the site. I think this is a great new feature, which will certainly give the photographer selected more exposure. I also hope that it will be incentive to us all to strive to take even better photographs. Yet another reason why Photographyblog.com is one of my absolute favourite sites.
Congratulations Tootsie! :)

Great Mark! Please consider doing "DOYOULIKEIT" ! I spent a long time looking at his pictures the other day and have only one word to say "GENIUS"!
If I could follow this fella around for just one day and have him give me some insight about his thoughts, I think I could be a much better photographer! He makes things happen with his camera!
