When you download the file and run it, it says in the licensing that it is not free software but a 28 day trial. I did not go beyond that point. Since it was not truly free, I did not want to take chances.

Once you get and enter the serial number, all is fine. Nice little program. Thanks.

I downloaded the software, but it won't work. I'm guessing it's because I have Vista Premium 64-bit? I can't find any information if there is a version that will work with 64-bit. (Why oh why I ever bought 64-bit is beyond me. Rarely do programs work on it).

with these comments '...entire photo albums without compromising picture quality...reduce digital photographs...by up to 95% without resizing or sacrificing quality...' I was led to think it would compress my pictures lossless. but users be aware that picture quality degrades with the compression blubox uses, that being said it did turn my 50gb folder into a sharable 7gb, great software but u do sacrifice quality.

I use Nikon's mypicturetown myself, seems to do the same without resizing anything. 2 Gig free storage here: http://www.mypicturetown.com

I'm very curious about the compression technique, so I'll give it a try

@ Alton, no, it is a free copy, all you have to do is enter the code you get and it becomes free, only if you do not enter the code is it a free 28 day trial.
However, as I already use Faststone photo resizer, this really gained me nothing as it does not resize and then provide you with resized photos, only ion Blubox archived form, which you can store, add to an email or upload to the web. You can't (unless I'm missing something) use it to resize photos and use them immediately on your PC outside of the Blubox software, so unless I'm using it wrong, I'll stick to FastStone.
