I'm just wondering if they give you the ability to embed the image viewer on your site if you choose to.

Personally I see very little desire/need for this. For doing simple panoramas why waste $900 when doing them yourself is rather easy and on the off chance you want something with all the extra detail, why would you want to be tied down to their site for hosting it?

Interesting but I agree with m3. It's pointless if you can only view the image on their website.

Is it possible to set the image ratio does anybody know? So it is no a wide panorama.

I just posted a video review of the gigapan epic pro on our blog, http://www.xrez.com/blog/gigapan-epic-pro-video-review/

M3 and Jamie, Yes you can have gigapan host the image and then embed it in your website, or you could do the same thing using photosynth (see the vid review) or you can take the images and stitch them w/ another stitcher such as PT GUI or Autopano and put the images on your site via flash and krpano. You can also choose any aspect ratio.

Gigapan Pro Epic is an excellent tool. And it is quite inaccurate to state that you can only place the pan's or 360 views on their website only. The computerised system only allows systematic taking of the pictures. What you do with them is entirely up to you. After all you supply the DSLR and therefore you are in total control of what happens to the pictures and the stitch software you use. Also if you notice the item is called Gigapan Epic 'PRO'! meaning that if you were a professional with commercial use of this product, you would reap the little investment back very quickly. And also as a Pro you would know that the service of using their website is only an option no compulsory. Do your research and ask these guys any questions; they will respond and tell you what software is best for you. So before making unprofessional statements think why would they invest in manufacturing a product of such quality if it does not have a place in the professional market.

COME ON GUYS AND GIRLS USE YOUR BRAINS.

10 OUT OF 10 FOR THE PRODUCT.
