I've had one of these for a while; It does a great job with lighter digicams such as the canon S and A lines. It folds up small and is much more versatile than a normal tripod.
However, do notice that it has a max weight. Since the only thing keeping the camera straight is friction of the ball-joints, heavier cameras or cameras with long extended lenses may have too much torque.
