Hahnemühle launches new Corporate Design and Web appearance
The tradition-rich company Hahnemühle FineArt, one of the leading manufacturers of top-quality papers for art, photography and technical applications, launches a new corporate design and a new, trend-setting digital strategy.
The new appearance of the Dassel based company was designed by Kracke & Kracke, the design office of Prof Bernd Kracke and Julia Kracke. With a revamped logo, new typography, new colour scheme, icons providing orientation and modernised pictorial language, Hahnemühle launches the new design intitally online. With its more transparent, more open and more modern expression and suiting customer demands, the new appearance reflects the central Hahnemühle values: passion, perfection, openness, respect in the collaboration and sustainability. This approach is also reflected by the new claim ‘Paper makes the difference’.
Re-launch and expansion of the complete web infrastructure worldwide
With the launch of the new website, the digital strategy developed during the past 18 months in cooperation with Fink & Fuchs PR is taken to a new peak. Following the successful establishment of the social media campaign, which is sustainably supported by a fast growing ‘community’ of artists, photographers and technical users, the online offerings now feature a completely revamped website, newsroom and blog. The goal of the development: to create an up-to-date range of information and modern easy-to-use dialogue platforms. The new website is charged with emotions, technically up to date and open for dialogue with the users.
The five-language website and the newsroomwith integrated blog that is available in German, English and in country specific versions for the UK, France and USA was designed in cooperation with Fink & Fuchs PR and newly shaped when it comes to the content. In the future, the Hahnemühle online world is intended to not only provide own content edited for multi-media use but via the social media platforms or the blog, it is also open for adequate content of third parties and as a stage for the presentation of art and other paper applications.
The new web proposals are designed completely – extraordinary for a mid-size company – in the‘responsive design’ approach and are now perfectly useable with mobile devices. To improve the online services, a shopping-list function as well as a dealership list was integrated to make ordering easier. An increasing number of service offerings, such as ICC profiles, video tutorials and how-to information are provided to support the customer when it comes to handling the products perfectly. Multifaceted information options such as newsletter subscriptions via RSS or social media channels in country-specific and topic-specific characteristics complete the range. The technical implementation of the new web platforms was realised by alto.de New Mediabased in Einbeck, Germany. Incidentally: this October, the Hahnemühle communication strategy was awarded the ‘Deutsche PR-Preis 2013’.
