The Best Photos Far and Wide

In the old days, you used to have extra special photos enlarged to really bring out the best in them. Now, at the IFA trade fair, Hama is demonstrating a digital way to enlarge digital photos – with the 15” Digital Photo Frame.

The TFT-LC display presents images and videos at a screen diagonal of 38.10 cm, in the 4:3 format and at a resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels. The image display is perfected with background music from MP3 files. And if that’s still not interesting enough, you can zoom in and out of the images, rotate them, create a slide-show or configure split screen mode. A time display, calendar, alarm, timer switch function and adjustable image display duration make this large picture frame the ideal desk accessory.

I think it looks too much like a flat screen TV and not a picture frame. A TV that looks high-tech makes sense, but picture frames should look like low-tech.
