Hasselblad Appoints New CMO

Hasselblad has announced the appointment of a new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Effective 12th October, Johan Åhlén, a former brand, marketing and sales expert with Scandinavian Airlines assumes responsibility for Hasselblad's marketing initiatives. "As a marketeer it is an honour for me to accept this new role at Hasselblad and become an integral part of this iconic brand," Åhlén said. "This company has a stunning history, with its cutting edge products used by some of the best photographers in the world. It will be a joy to develop new marketing initiatives and business potential together with the Hasselblad team."

Hasselblad appoints a new CMO

Hasselblad has announced the appointment of a new Chief Marketing Officer with effect from 12th October. Johan Åhlén, a former brand, marketing and sales expert with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) takes over as Chief Marketing Officer and assumes responsibility for Hasselblad marketing initiatives.

Mr Åhlén brings with him over twenty years experience in both B2B & B2C.

The former leader and Head of Advertising of the SAS global marketing team is an expert at transforming customers insights and needs into business results through outstanding marketing strategy.

Announcing the appointment, Hasselblad CEO Perry Oosting said: "I am delighted to welcome Johan to our team. He brings long experience in digital marketing, CRM, advertising, search, content, media and consumer insights, alongside sales, revenue management, contract management and product development know-how. I believe his experience will be a great asset to Hasselblad."
