Hasselblad today unveiled a limited-edition Hasselblad H4D produced in cooperation with Ferrari. Finished in a new Ferrari colour called rosso fuoco, or fire red, the Hasselblad H4D Ferrari Edition has been created in celebration of two of the most iconic European brands, both of which started their career in the 1950s. Limited to just 499 cameras worldwide, this special edition camera was unveiled this morning at the Photokina trade show, and we were there to snap a few pictures of it for you.

No price has been mentioned of course - a Hasselblad Ferrari Edition is destined to be a case of “if you have to ask, it’s not for you…”

Well at least this Ferrari edition camera is worthy of the Ferrari name, unlike many other Ferrari badged products.

Hasselblad/Ferrari H4D

If you buy one of these, does it come with a free car? Like, maybe the 458 Italia?

So does this camera cheat and get away with just a slap on the wrist? Is its main operator a whiney Spaniard?

Ferrari = super fast raging maniac machines
Hasselblad = slow, not muuuch difference there then lol.

Still, wouldn't mind this, let alone any hasselblad or even medium format camera for that matter (once youve used one you dont want to go back to your £500 dslr lol, its not easy :/ )

Phase One is the real Ferrari of medium format! Hasselblad is more like a Force India.
